1. Is my device compatible with One61 Smartwatches? 

  • Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Android 4.4 or later. Compatible with various phones and tablets.

2. What devices are not fully compatible with One61 Smartwatches?

  • Most Motorola devices - Various off brands of Android devices

Power

1. How do I get my watch to charge? 

  • Align the pins on the watch with the pins on the base
  • Push the watch onto the base as the pins are aligned
  • Plug in the micro side of the provided USB cable to the charging base
  • Attach the other end of the USB cable to 5W USB power source (5W adaptor cube, computer, etc…) 
  • If you followed the previous steps and the watch is OFF you will see a charging indicator on the screen. If the watch is ON you will see the charging indicator in the top corner of the screen.

2. My watch won’t turn on? 

Place the watch on its charging base.

To turn the watch ON, Press the power button for 3 seconds, display will light up.

3. How do I enter power saving mode? What features will I lose?

  • In the watch, go to Settings > Power saving > tap power saving button on the screen. This will enable power saving mode. A red power icon will be displayed on the top of the watch. Power saving mode will extend the battery life.
     
  • Power saving mode turns OFF: Phone dialer, call logs, messages, phone finder, contacts, camera controller, voice assistance, and notifications.

4. How to exit power saving mode? 

  • In the watch, go to Settings > Power saving > tap power saving button on the screen.

Battery life

1. My watch dies too quickly, how can I extend the battery life? 

  • Adjust the brightness go to: Settings > Display > Brightness - Adjust the volume go to: Settings > Volume - Adjust the screen timeout go to: Settings > Display > Timeout

2. How long will the battery last on my watch?

  • 18 to 24 hours depending on usage and settings.

3. How long will it take to fully charge the watch?

  • Up to 2 hours depending on battery level before it was on the charger

4. Can I replace the battery in my One61 Smartwatch?

  • No, the battery can’t be replaced.

Bluetooth Connectivity

1. How do I pair my One61 Smartwatch?

First Time Users

  • Download the One61 Smartwatch mobile app in the App Store or Google Play Store (depending on your devices OS). 
  • After installing and opening the app, create an account.
  • Once your account is set up you will see the pairing screen (make sure your watch is close to your device) select the watch your pairing to from the list in the app. Once pairing is successful approve all permissions.
  • Once BLE is connected, you need to connect Bluetooth through your devices settings. Go to: Settings > Bluetooth > select the watch from the list.
  • Once paired, click into the watch of your device’s Bluetooth settings.
    • Android users: Enable “Call audio “and “Text input”.
    • iOS users: Enable “Show Notifications” and “Sync Contacts.”

Returning Users

  • Open the app
    • Tap on “Me” icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
    • Tap the “Pair Watch” from the list
    • Select the watch you want to pair to from the list.
    • Once BLE is connected, you need to connect Bluetooth through your devices settings. Go to: Settings > Bluetooth select the watch your pairing to in the list.
    • Once paired click into the watch in your devices Bluetooth settings. Android users: Enable “Call audio “and “Text input”. iOS users– Enable “Show Notifications” and “Sync Contacts.”

2. How do I unpair my Smartwatch?

While connected to the app

  • Tap on the “Me” icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
  • Tap “Pair Watch” from the list
  • Tap “unpair Watch” • Select “unpair” from the confirmation popup 

While not connected to the app

  • If the Smartwatch is not connected at the time of the unpair, it will only unpair from the app. You will have to unpair it from your connected device by going to: Settings > Bluetooth > and tapping on One61 smartwatch options.
    • Android users: hit ‘Unpair’
    • iOS users: tap ‘Forget This Device’ - Make sure you reset the smartwatch before attempting to pair it again.

3. Can I pair multiple One61 Smartwatches to the same device?

No, you can only pair one watch to the app.

4. My One61 Smartwatch won’t pair with my device

  • Check the OS compatibility on your device (see the…installation section for OS compatibility)
  • Make sure your device is next to your watch.
  • Check your devices Bluetooth status. In your watch go to: Settings > Bluetooth > toggle Bluetooth ON. - Reset the watch by tapping: Settings > Reset > Reset
  • Go to the “Me” section of the app for the version number to insure you have the latest version from the App Store/Play Store.
  • Try re-pairing (see… see the…Installation section for pairing instructions)
  • If you still can’t get your watch to pair, contact: support@one61.com

5. My Bluetooth connection failed, how do I reconnect?

  • Check your Bluetooth’s settings on your paired device.
  • Make sure your watch’s Bluetooth is ON. Go to: device’s settings >Bluetooth
  • Check the Bluetooth icon on the watch, if the icon is green BLE is connected, if blue Bluetooth Classic is connected, half green and blue watch is fully connected, and white is no connection.
  • Check permissions in your devices Bluetooth settings
  • Android users: Enable “Call audio “and “Text input”.
    • iOS users: Enable “Show Notifications” and “Sync Contacts.”
    • Try restarting the watch, Press and hold the button on the watch until the screen turns OFF than hold the button again to turn back ON.

6. Why do I have to connect to Bluetooth twice?

  • One61 smartwatch uses two Bluetooth connection points. One is BLE (Bluetooth Low energy, interacts with One61 Watch app) and the other is Bluetooth Classic (hands free, interacts with your mobile device directly).
  • The two connections have to be made, in order for all functionality to work.

Using the One61 Smartwatch with other Bluetooth audio devices

1. How do I prevent phone call audio from being directed to my Watch?

  • Switch the audio device you like using the phone call options to car, phone speaker, watch or phone.
  • If you still have issues during the call, turn OFF the watch, by pressing and holding the button on the watch.

2. I was on a phone call using my car’s Bluetooth the audio was directed to the watch. How do I avoid this?

  • To prevent the audio from switching sources ensure your watch has a stable connection to your mobile device.
  • Select your preferred audio device using the phone call options. Choose your car, headphones, speaker, watch, or phone.
  • If you still have issues during the call, turn OFF the watch, by pressing and holding the button on the watch.

Functions

1. How do I change watch faces?

  • Press and hold on the watch face, then swipe left or right to choose a different watch face.
  • In the watch go to: Settings > Clock > Clock type and then swipe left and right to choose a new watch face, then tap “Ok” to confirm.

2. How do I get notifications on my One61 Smartwatch?

  • Check the Bluetooth connection on your watch (See... Bluetooth connectivity for instructions)
  • Check your connected device that all permissions have been granted in Bluetooth settings (see…issue number 5 for instructions).
  • If you are not getting any notifications, unpair the watch, then re-pair (see… instructions in the Bluetooth Connectivity) after paired grant all permission requests.

3. How many notifications will the One61 Smartwatch show?

  • The watch will show 10 of the latest notifications from your device.

4. Can I send or reply to messages (SMS) using One61 smartwatch while paired to an iPhone? 

No, iOS does not allow the watch to send or reply to messages. You can view (view only) your SMS messages in Notifications on your watch

5. What is the “Anti-Loss” functions in the One61 Smartwatch app and how do I use it?

  • Anti-lost is used to alert the user in the event of Bluetooth disconnection.
  • Open the app - Tap on ‘Me’ in the bottom corner of your device’s screen
  • Tap on ‘Anti-Lost’ section - Under Anti-Lost, enable ‘Watch Alert’ to get Bluetooth disconnection alert in the watch, this will make the watch ring and vibrate.
  • Under Anti-Lost, enable ‘Phone Ring’ to get Bluetooth disconnection alert in the phone or tablet, this will make your connected device ring.
  • Under Anti-Lost, enable ‘Phone Vibrate’ to get Bluetooth disconnection alert in your connected device. - Under Anti-Lost, enable ‘Phone Ring’ and ‘Phone Vibrate’ to get Bluetooth disconnection alert on your connected device.

6. What is “Find Phone” and how do I use it?

  • If the watch is connected to your device and the app is open, you can make the phone ring by following these steps from your watch.
    • Tap on ‘Phone finder’ micro app from the home screen.
    • Press and hold the button.
    • If the watch is connected it will ring your device, even if your device is on silent or vibrate.
    • Tap the button on the watch again for your device to stop ringing.

7. What is “Find Watch” and how do I use it? 

  • If the watch is connected to the app, you can make the watch ring by following these steps
    • Open the app
    • Tap on ‘Me’ in the bottom corner of your device’s screen
    • Tap on ‘Find Watch’ section and press the button
    • If the Smartwatch is connected to the app it will ring your One61 Smartwatch.

8. There are two ways to stop the watch from ringing

  • Tap ‘OK’ on your watch
  • Tap ‘Stop’ in the One61 Watch app on your device

9. What functions does BLE enable in Smartwatch?

  • Notifications

10. What functions does Bluetooth Classic enable in Smartwatch?

11. One61 Smartwatch is unresponsive or frozen.

  • In the event that your watch becomes unresponsive, restart the watch by pressing and holding the button.

12. How do I reset the One61 Smartwatch?

  • If the watch is connected to your device/app
  • Open the app
  • Tap on ‘Me’ in the bottom corner of your device’s screen.
  • Tap on your watch then tap the “unpair” button.
  • The One61 Smartwatch will go to factory reset mode If the watch is not connected to your device/app
  • Turn OFF your connected device’s Bluetooth, the watch should than be disconnected.
  • In the watch, go to: Settings > Reset > tap the Reset button.

13. If I keep my phone or tablet in silent or vibrate mode will ‘Find Phone’ make my device ring?

  • Yes, if the watch is connected to your device this feature will override any mode you have set on the device.

14. How do I delete notifications shown on the watch?

  • Clear the notifications from the connected device. If you lose connection from your device, once you have reconnected any notifications on your device will appear on the watch again. There is no option to delete the notification from the watch.

15. My miles and calories are showing unusual readings?

  • Check your profile settings in the app for accuracy

6. How many Alarms can I save?

  • You can save up to 5 alarms times.

17. How do I add multiple Alarms?

  • On your watch, from the home screen tap: Alarms > tap on ‘+’ to add new alarm > choose alarm settings > tap on save > tap ON to turn on this alarm.
  • Now go to Alarms > swipe up > tap on ‘+’ to add new alarm > select your alarm settings > tap on the set button > after setting is completed tap ‘ON’.
  • In the Alarms app, you can swipe up and down to see different alarms you set or add a new alarm.

18. What is ‘Do Not Disturb’?

  • The function will turn of all feature except time telling and the pedometer

19. How does Do Not Disturb work with sleep monitoring?

  • When the watch enters the sleep monitoring time, it will automatically ENABLE Do Not Disturb. - Once your wake-up time has occurred on the watch, it will automatically DISABLE Do Not Disturb mode.

20. How do I know if my watch is in “Do Not Disturb” mode?

  • From the home screen, tap ‘Do Not Disturb, then tap the ‘On’ button

21. How do I sync my contacts to my watch?

  • If connected to your device
    • iOS users: Open your device’s Bluetooth Settings > toggle on ‘Sync Contacts’. • Android users: Open your device’s Bluetooth Settings > enable ‘Call audio’.
    • Go to the watch: Contacts > tap the ‘Ok’ button.
    • If not connected to your device
    • Connect Bluetooth classic (see... Bluetooth Connectivity for step by step instructions)

22. What is the connectivity range of One61 Smartwatch?

  • The range is estimated 70 ft. for open environments and 30 ft. in a closed environments.

23. How do I change my step goal in the watch?

  • In the watch, tap the Crime Fighting > swipe left > swipe left > tap on ‘step goal’ and pick your new goal.
  • If the watch is connected to the One61 Watch app, the new step goal chosen in the watch will be synced with the app and updated in the server for the future use immediately.
     
  • If the watch is not connected to the One61 Watch app

    • Change in the watch or the app (see… 23A & B for step by step instructions)

24. Is the One61 smartwatch left handed or right handed?

  • It can be used on both hands.

One61 Watch App

1. What are the good practices for choosing a username?

  • Username can contain alphabets: A to Z or a to z
  • Username can contain numeric digits: 0 to 9
  • Username can’t contain any special characters

2. What are the good practices for choosing a password?

  • Password can contain any combination of printable ASCII characters
  • Password can’t begin or end with whitespace

3. In iOS, if I force quit the app will the ‘Find Phone’ feature work?

  • If the user quits the app ‘Find Phone’ feature will NOT work.
  • To make this feature work, keep the app running in the background

4. In Android, if I force quit the app will the ‘Find Phone’ feature work?

  • YES, this feature will work if the app has been forced quit.

5. How to change step goal in the app?

  • In the app, tap on ‘Me’ in bottom right corner.
  • Me > Profile > tap on ‘Goal’ and change the goal > Done
  • Tap on icon in the top right corner to save your changes.
  • If the watch is not connected to the app
    • Reconnect to the app before updating any changes (See… Bluetooth Connectivity and section 23 for step by step instructions)

6. How do I update/reset my password?

  • Open the app
  • Tap Login link
  • Tap ‘Forgot password’
  • Enter your registered email and we will send you a confirmation code
  • Tap the ‘Confirm’ button
  • You will receive an email from support@one61.com
  • Open the email and copy the confirmation code.
  • Open the One61 Watch app, paste this code in the confirmation code page.
  • Tap the ‘Confirm’ button - In the update password page, enter new password and confirm password
  • Tap confirm

7. I tried forgot password in the app but I still did not receive any email from One61. How to access my account?

  • Check if the email is spelled correctly
  • Check if that email is your correct registered email

  • The size of The Flash and Batman watch band is 20mm. The Wonder Woman watch band is 22mm.

2. What type of watch bands are compatible?

  • The Flash and Batman watch is compatible with standard 20mm bands.
  • The Wonder Woman watch is compatible with standard 22mm bands.

3. Can you swim with your smartwatch?

  • Our smartwatches have a rating of IP64 and 1 ATM, and aren’t made to be submerged in water. However, your smartwatch will be safe if water splashes on it.
