The collection offers fans a gamified interactive experience, featuring three popular superheroes from DC Comics’ Justice League: Batman, The Flash, and Wonder Woman.

One61 Studio Smartwatches come equipped with standard features like text message alerts and step-counting. However, unlike any other smartwatch on the market, each One61 Studio Smartwatch provides the wearer with a fully interactive experience based upon their hero of choice.

The Flash Smartwatch hourly move reminder consist of “metahuman alerts,” while the Joker can be defeated by meeting daily step goals with the Batman watch. With each version of the watch fans can also unlock characters from The DC Comics universe by reaching or surpassing milestones.

One61 Smartwatches fully integrate with both Android and iOS operating systems, allowing wearers to answer and ignore calls, as well as access contacts and view  call and message logs. Other key features include, sleep monitoring, hands-free music control, phone finder, and camera control with an interactive experience woven into each one.

DALLAS, Texas - January 3, 2017 - This week One61 Studio, the IoT division of Bioworld Merchandising, Inc. pioneering the future of licensed apparel and accessories, announced a unique partnership with KnowThings, a CA Technologies incubator, in an effort to accelerate IoT solution development and bring licensed tech products to market more rapidly.

“This partnership stemmed from our objective to bring superior products to market more quickly and efficiently than ever before.” said Shawn Stauffer, Bioworld’s Chief Technology Officer. “To accomplish that, we are improving our quality assurance and testing capabilities with the help of third-party validation and smart technology developed by partners like KnowThings.”

The first product line produced through this distinct collaboration is One61 Studio’s Super Hero SmartWatch Collection. The first-of-its-kind collection provides users with a “gamified” interactive experience and features popular superheroes including Batman, The Flash, and Wonder Woman.

With help from KnowThings, One61 improved SmartWatch capabilities and overall performance by including machine learning technologies, device virtualization, and security audits to automate tests and make products secure and longer lasting.

 Dallas, Texas - December 18, 2017-- Today, Bioworld Merchandising, Inc. , the industry leader in delivering officially-licensed products for the top entertainment brands to all levels of retail distribution, announced the launch of One61 Studio, its new IoT division focused on deepening the fan experience through smart, connected, and wearable pop culture-themed products and gadgets.

Bridging the gap between pop culture fandom and technology was a natural next step for the company known for providing consumers with officially-licensed merchandise from the comics, video games, and movies they love for over two decades.

 “With the pervasive blending of tech into every facet of daily life, Bioworld needed to be the first to disrupt its own industry of licensed apparel and accessories,” said Shawn Stauffer, Chief Technology Officer of Bioworld Merchandising. “Initially to do this we searched for technology partners, but their price points  and timelines did not meet our needs, so we created our own solution, One61 Studio.”

Bioworld began its foray into the tech sector in early 2017, with the introduction of foundmi collectible Bluetooth trackers. For instance, Kaptur smart hats are a collaboration with Say Technology. Say developed the innovative app and screen technology, and One61 provided over 15 years of headwear production expertise.
